As a multi-award winning entrepreneur and storyteller, Rachael has spoken at hundreds of events including for: Jaguar Land Rover; HSBC; SVB; PayPal; Sifted; Deloitte; Wellcome Collection; Google; YouTube; Facebook; Wray & Nephew; Wired; Slush; Start Up Grind; Marketing Week; One Tech; Camden Council; Debate Mate; Intelligence Squared; Penguin; The British Library; WeWork; UCL; University of the Arts London; Brunel; the University of Birmingham; and appeared on TV and radio. As a public speaker, she's best known for her winning pitch to celebrity judges including Gary Vee, Vanessa Kingori and Ashton Kutcher, two days before giving birth.
After graduating with a Law degree from the University of Birmingham, where Rachael founded Afrocenchix, she studied at the Institute of Trichologists. Rachael then graduated from UCL with an MSc in Medical Anthropology (with a dissertation completed at the University of Cambridge Medical School) before developing her career as a business leader and storyteller. Her interests include: business; branding and marketing; health and wellbeing; ethics and sustainability; d2c startups; creative arts; mental health; and disruptive tech and ethical AI.
